Ji Choi is a multidisciplinary artist based in Toronto. She enjoys working with fibre and clay from knitting and weaving to hand building, slip casting, and wheel throwing. Originally from South Korea, she studied Digital Craft Arts in Seoul — a program that combined fibre arts and ceramics. She has continued her practice in different cities including Amsterdam, Vancouver, and now Toronto. She works across multiple roles within ceramics as an artist, educator, technician and writer.

 

Outside the studio, Ji likes dancing to K-pop and hip-hop, walking around the city with her camera, and trying out local coffee spots.
